General Responsibility
This department has the responsibility to coordinate the social ministry of the church that allows for the corporate expression of Christian love and compassion
 
Specific Duties
- Healing Ministry
- To develop a holistic approach to healing encompassing a total health team. The team should include nursing, dental, optical,   prayer and counseling services.
- To work in close association with the prayer and counseling ministry for delivery of this ministry.
- To organize an annual health fair for the church and community among other community outreached ministries that may be decided from time to time.
- To organize home visits for medical and other related purposes.
 
2. Welfare Service
- To monitor the allocation made to members through the Welfare fund.
- To monitor the feeding programme of the church in terms of replenishing and distribution from the care basket
- To consider ways of ministering to the needs of the less fortunate in practical ways.
- To partner with the auxiliaries of the church in executing social welfare programmes.
 
3. Cooperative Programme
- To consider ways of cooperating with other Christian groups or agencies designed to help relieve the suffering on humankind.
 
4. Skills Training
- To design programmes to equip particularly the unemployed to develop their skills in order to assist their personal development.
5. Other
- To conceive and develop other programmes whereby the church may make the love of God incarnate in those who are overcome by the difficulties of life.
